The artwork named “The Raven” is inspired form “YATAGARASU” which has foots and appears in old Japanese myth.In many countries, a raven is a symbol of bad omen, but in Japanese and Alaskan myth, it is messenger of the sun and symbol of guidance.I was strongly inspired by the double-sided and yin-yang elements of it and made this artwork for a clothe.A clothe whchi printed this artwork is a tool for installing power of the sun as root of life for whom lives in cities.

「レイブン(大鴉)」と名付けられたこの作品は、日本神話に登場する八咫 烏(ヤタガラス)からインスピレーションを受けて制作されました。多くの国では、カラスは不吉な前兆として忌み嫌われる存在ですが、日本神話やアラスカ神話の中では太陽の使い、導きの象徴で、とても良い存在として崇められているのです。私は、カラスが持ちあわせる両面性、陰陽性にとても強くインスピレーションを受け、服のためのこのアートワークを作成しました。その服は、都市の中にあっても、生命の根源である太陽を自らの内にインストールするためのツールなのです。
